In early summer 2023 I undertook a residency at The Vestibules in Bristol. I investigated a theoretical concept of the feminine: the Matrixial Borderspace created by Bracha Ettinger. I responded to the histories, geography and physical properties of the space alongside encounters with members of the public who came in or stayed on the threshold. I made small monoprints and drawings, and the residency culminated in the creation of 5 large drawings. A selction of the smaller works and drawings in situ can be seen below.
